The JNV Ventures Group’s (earlier Sujan Group) entrepreneurial journey began in 1977. It commenced with the setting up of a small moulding shop. It was a very different Indian economy in those years. Resources and funds were limited. This was a time before the Economic Reforms of 1991 were introduced which opened the economy to global competition as well as opportunities.
However, the Group’s founders had the passion, drive and determination to make their fledgling venture succeed as they saw potential in the rubber products and rubber solutions industry.
In 1982, the Group became an ancillary to a few well-known automotive companies. This led to the establishment of individual facilities to develop rubber compounds, make rubber extrusion products and most importantly, design and develop new products.
To provide top class quality and reliability, in-house testing facilities were required, and the Group was quick to make the investments to establish them as it was keen to widen its product portfolio as well as meet with world standards. The Group’s philosophy of hard work combined with technical expertise and the pursuit of high quality has ensured that the Group has always been ahead of the curve, influencing developments in rubber technology and in recent years, polymer technology as well in the Indian industry.
Apart from Sujan ContiTech AVS, JNV Ventures Group companies include Mega Rubber Technologies, Polyrub Extrusions, Polyrub CooperStandard, Mega Hefa Emissions Technology, Mega KLC and Polyrub Plastics.
